Okay so we have two hometown shows! That's because our band resides within two hometowns.
It's been a while though Swansea and this looks to be an incredible festival run by the most loveliest of people. We're super stoked to be billed with some of the best bands South Wales has to offer and we're chuffed it's all happening in Swansea!
check out Swansea Fringe Facebook Page for more info!
Well Hello there stranger! After hiding away from the horrors of the world, we've decided to emerge from our den to play this year's Hub Fest! We'll be at Tiny Rebel on 27th August playing alongside the likes of the incredible CHROMA! We'll have loads of new songs for your ears too, because hiding in a hole as the world crumbles gives you a lot of material to work with. Peace!
For International Women's Day, Angela was asked to perform a 15 minute improvised piece alongside Welsh Young Person's Poet Laureate, Sophie McKeand, as well as Francesca's Word Salad, and Emma Daman Thomas (Islet). They closed the night's celebrations at Wales Millennium Centre, and the event was organised by Fizzi Events. Have a watch!
So we went away for a lovely weekend in west Wales....
We'l be locking ourselves away in a cottage in west Wales soon to crack down on the difficult second album. If the wait is too much however please check out some of the band member's solo//adjacent//perpendicular//neighbouring projects!
Laura's been experimenting with some electronic indie vibes coupled with her knack for writing heart wrenching lyrics which you may find here:
Edd and John are involved in a post-rock outfit so if you hate lyrics then you can find them here: False Hope For The Savage
Angela is busy finishing up her Phd and working on publishing some academia in the near future. There's no music, but you could read some of her work to a tune if you're so inclined (if you do please record it!!)
Hope that'l keep you going for now! Sorry for the recent radio silence. We will be back soon with some new songs!!
That was a lovely evening! Thank you to everyone who came, we hope you enjoyed the new songs! Time to get working on more!!!
Thanks Becky for the picture :)
